Goo Hara (1991-2019) Goo Ha-ra, also known mononymously as Hara, was a South Korean singer and actress. She was a member of the South Korean girl group Kara, and had also appeared in television dramas including City Hunter (2011). She made her debut as a soloist in July 2015 with the release of her EP Alohara (Can You Feel It?). Kim Shattuck (1963-2019) Kimberly Dianne Shattuck was an American singer, musician, and songwriter. She was the lead vocalist, guitarist, and primary songwriter of the American punk rock band the Muffs, which formed in 1991. From 1985 to 1990, Shattuck was a member of The Pandoras. In 2001, she was a singer, guitarist and songwriter for The Beards, a superpop side project composed of Shattuck, Lisa Marr, and Sherri Solinger. Achievements: Shattuck formed the Muffs in 1991 in Los Angeles. The band remained active over the following two decades, releasing six albums between 1993 and 2014. Darby Crash (1958-1980) Darby Crash (formerly Bobby Pyn; born Jan Paul Beahm) was an American punk rock vocalist and songwriter who, along with longtime friend Pat Smear (born Georg Ruthenberg), co-founded the punk rock band the Germs. Achievements: Germs were an American punk rock band from Los Angeles, California, United States, originally active from 1976 to 1980. The band's main early lineup consisted of singer Darby Crash, guitarist Pat Smear, bassist Lorna Doom, and drummer Don Bolles. They released only one album, 1979's (GI), produced by Joan Jett, and were featured the following year in Penelope Spheeris' documentary film The Decline of Western Civilization, which chronicled the Los Angeles punk movement. In 2005, actor Shane West was cast to play Crash in the biographical film What We Do Is Secret, titled after a song by the Germs.

Tim Landers (1991-2019) Tim Landers, known for his efforts with Boston-based rock band Transit. Achievements: In addition to being a co-founding guitarist/vocalist/songwriter of Transit, the Stoneham-born rock band who would sign to Run For Cover and Rise Records and release five albums and four EPs between 2007 and 2014, Landers was also known for bands/projects such as Misser, Off & On, and most recently, Cold Collective. A band credited with helping spark the recent emo resurgence, Transit experienced some commercial success before splitting in 2016. They toured constantly, appeared on Warped Tour in 2012, and charted on Billboard with their 2011 album Listen & Forgive and 2013’s Young New England. Mike Scaccia (1965-2012) Michael Ralph Scaccia was an American musician, best known as the lead (and sometimes rhythm) guitarist for several heavy metal and alternative rock acts, including Rigor Mortis, Ministry and Revolting Cocks. David Berman (1967-2019) David Cloud Berman (born David Craig Berman) was an American musician, singer, poet and cartoonist best known for his work with indie-rock band the Silver Jews. Although the band primarily existed as a recording project for most of its existence, the Silver Jews toured regularly from 2005 until 2009. In January 2009, Berman announced his retirement from music in hopes of finding a meaningful way of undoing the damage that his estranged father Richard Berman (a lobbyist and public relations executive for the alcohol and tobacco industries, among others) had brought upon society. In addition to the six full-length albums that Berman wrote and recorded with the Silver Jews, he released two books: Actual Air (1999) and The Portable February (2009). Seth Putnam (1968-2011) Seth Edward Putnam was an American musician who was the founder, vocalist and occasional guitarist of grindcore band Anal Cunt. He was known for his high-pitched screamed vocals and lyrics that either shock, offend, or invoke morbid humor. Throughout his career, Putnam had also been involved in several side projects.
